We are commercial contractor that self performs a variety of trades.
We are looking for an accountant.
Job Duties:
Process weekly payroll with accuracy based on time sheets.
Job cost payroll hours
Trade cost payroll hours
Monitor expense entries
Confirm receipts follow company policies
Ensure data entry of expenses are accurate
Reconcile credit card and bank statements
Pay invoices and bills that are approved by owner
Provide job cost reports
Provide WIP reports
Provide balance sheets
Provide various other types of accounting reports that banks ask for
Should be somewhat familiar with tax code and how to help a construction company
Work with company bookkeeper, administrative assistant, and owner daily
Work with third party CPA accounting firm monthly
Monitor business financial health and address concerns with owner
Financial information to always remain confidential between you and the owner
Qualifications:
Should have 10 years experience as an accountant
Should have advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
Should have advanced experience with Quickbooks
Should have be extremely concerned with accuracy and having data balance
