Legrand has an exciting remote opportunity for an Account Manager to join the Data, Power & Control Team in Independence, OH.

What Will You Do?

The Account Manager will facilitate communication with current and new customers while building long-term relationships to achieve business goals for the Approved Networks Brand.

This is an opportunity to grow Approved Network\xe2\x80\x99s business with Telecommunications Service Provider (Broadband) accounts by identifying prospects, nurturing leads, uncovering opportunities, and developing and executing sales strategies that result in achieving quota and supporting company sales initiatives. The successful salesperson will generate leads, qualify prospects, manage sales of products, and drive new revenue. Most activity will be account management activities for an established book of business consisting of a variety of Broadband Accounts.

Main Job Duties:

  • Executes tactics to support broader sales and account strategy as directed by Sales Leader
  • Achieve planned sales levels for all assigned customer accounts by lead generation, lead/quote follow-up, and regular contact with existing accounts
  • Establish relationships with the purchasing and technical POCs within assigned accounts with the goal of maintaining a greater point of presence for Approved Networks
  • Produce and Follow-up on quotations as directed by Sales Leader and identify win/loss status and relevant background; maintain and distribute forecast related to quotes
  • Liaison with Approved Network\xe2\x80\x99s Customer Support to resolve issues
  • Project Management using account plan and tracker while adjusting as new projects enter the funnel
  • Expand and develop deeper relationships with customers
  • Quarterly Business Review preparation and coordination
  • Partners with Field Applications Engineer/Solutions Architect to drive the product evaluation process to completion
  • Provide input regarding targeted content development
  • Participates in tradeshows as necessary
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans
  • Meet assigned activity metrics
  • Travel up to 10%, including collaborative calls with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Leadership
  • Productively communicate needs for organizational improvement while embracing Approved Networks values
  • Work with prospects/customers to uncover needs
Qualifications

Travel: up to 10%

Education: BA/BS degree or equivalent professional work experience

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in outside sales capacity; Large account experience preferred

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
  • Skilled at prospecting using various direct methods such as cold calling and email/social media outreach, face-to-face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking
  • Direct experience selling networking equipment to key verticals, including data centers, telecom service providers, healthcare, higher education, or government markets
  • Internal and external communication, and presentation skills
  • Outstanding ability to establish credibility and influence others
  • Consultative sales skills and familiarity with sales processes/methodologies
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor as well as a team member to meet regional and company-wide financial goals
  • Strong analytical, assessment, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively, make decisions independently, and still be mindful of organizational processes and guidelines
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Experience working with HubSpot or other CRM(s)
