The Chariot Group, a renowned AV Integrator, is growing its Sales Team and is seeking an Account Manager with no less than two years of relevant sales experience within the AV industry.

Account Managers/Outside Sales Representatives are expected to independently and actively seek new clients. While referrals are common, Account Managers are responsible for "filling the sales funnel" on their own and are held accountable for their prospecting and sales efforts.

Notwithstanding the independence for prospecting and sales, Account Managers work collaboratively with each other as well as The Chariot Group\'s Design Team, Install Team and Support/Services Team.

Some primary functions of the Account Manager include but are not limited to:

  • Actively seek new business in designated market and territory. This is accomplished through cold or referred sales calls and meetings, active networking and inquiry, etc.
  • Identify client needs, select appropriate products and solutions to meet or exceed those needs, and develop quote for client. Deliver and perform follow up activities as needed.
  • Cultivate client relationships by being both responsive and proactive with the client\xe2\x80\x99s key stakeholders. This might involve phone calls, meetings, sharing of newsletters or new products and services, etc.
  • Input customer information into the organization\xe2\x80\x99s client management platform to ensure accurate records and efficient communication between sales staff and company departments.
  • Update sales funnel records (sales stages such as lead follow up, quoting, order processing, etc.) in organization\xe2\x80\x99s client management platform to ensure and report on up-to-date sales forecasts/projections.
  • Document orders accurately to best enable logistics and follow up to ensure timely and effective processing. Collaborate with team for alternative plans if necessary.
  • Working collaboratively with Design, Install and Service teams, make certain information is available and/or shared with client and teams to preserve the project schedule and ensure proper execution of sale occurs.
  • Working collaboratively others, identify alternative solutions for the client should original ideas/products/solutions not be available.
  • Working collaboratively with Service teams, help identify new products/solutions for previous clients who may be facing obstacles due to products obsolescing.

Account Managers are often required to meet with potential or current clients out of the office, so they are expected to have reliable and business appropriate transportation, proof of valid driver\'s license and insurance, and a clean driving record.

This commission-based, consultative Sales position will work typical office hours of Monday - Friday, with the occasional "after hours" and travel required. (Please note, while the job board requires input of a salary range, there is, technically, no cap in one\'s ability to make commissions.)

Please note, we have posted this job as remote because we want to ensure we attract as many terrific candidates as possible. Ideally, the candidate lives in either the Pacific Northwest or Utah as we have business locations in those areas. However, we do business around the country and if we find a qualified candidate elsewhere who can hit the ground running, we will definitely consider bringing that candidate onto our team!

Finally, The Chariot Group requires pre-employment drug testing, criminal background screening and reference checking; successful candidates will have satisfactory results in all three of those areas.
