Job Description


Wyoming Children\xe2\x80\x99s Trust Fund (WYCTF) leads child abuse and neglect prevention efforts through collaboration and innovation. As part of the prevention continuum, WYCTF focuses on family-centered efforts in primary and secondary prevention. Target populations for Wyoming Children\xe2\x80\x99s Trust Fund programs include: parents, parents and/or children with disabilities, racial and ethnic minorities, members of underrepresented groups, fathers, homeless families and those at risk of homelessness, unaccompanied homeless youth, and adult former victims of child abuse and neglect or domestic violence. The VISTA will improve the functionality of our database and create a community awareness campaign. The VISTA will help alleviate poverty by improving opportunities for families to break the cycle of abuse and neglect. The VISTA will build capacity by ensuring that services meet the needs of the community and by increasing awareness of available services. The VISTA\xe2\x80\x99s efforts will result in a collection of qualitative data and improved prevention services. This service opportunity is available without regard to race, color, national origin, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, disability, gender identity or expression, political affiliation, marital or parental status, genetic information, or military service. This program is available to all and specific accessibility needs will be addressed on a case-by-case scenario.














Member Duties : 1. Meet with Children\xe2\x80\x99s Trust Fund staff to learn about the history and purpose of the Access database. 2. Gather data from grantees on the following topics: target population, level of prevention services, number of families and children impacted, and demographics. 3. Analyze and synthesize the data. 4. Create infographics tailored to specific stakeholder groups. 5. Gather information from previously completed external assessments. 6. Create reports with findings and recommendations from previous assessments showing the most common needs or trends from these assessments. 7. Research best practices for designing awareness campaigns related to child abuse prevention. 8. Design a campaign with specific methods and timelines. 9. Analyze and track outcomes of the awareness campaign. 10. Revise the campaign for future use based on the identified results. 11. Help alleviate poverty by improving opportunities for families to break the cycle of abuse and neglect
