Overview

SR1 Trailers is seeking a hard working and detail-oriented Yard Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our dealership, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient operation of our trailer lots. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy a positive culture and work environment. You will be working primarily outdoors with trailers, and take pride in your work. Must have a positive attitude and be reliable.

Responsibilities:

Lead, manage and hold accountable the Yard Team Exercise proper safety practices at all times Unload/ load trailers Assemble trailers Check-in and clean all incoming trailers. Inspecting the trailers for damage or faulty parts is integral to our process. Report shipping issues and defects immediately to Warranty Manager Organize trailers at store and storage lots Fill inventory holes in the trailer lines Keep all lots clean from trash and debris Back up trailer hook ups Shuttle trailers using company pick-up truck as needed Help with simple service jobs as needed Drive profit and loss success Provide top-notch customer service when helping customers Perform other duties assigned by management to ensure efficient operation of the dealership
Requirements

Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a variety of individuals. Experience in a dealership or yard environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations. Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods of time. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
