Responsible for but not limited to troubleshooting, completing repairs and services on yacht marine hydraulic systems and associated equipment. The individual must be able to maintain a tidy workspace while completing projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong marine engineering background and/or a strong mechanical background. Work or worked in the commercial / heavy equipment hydraulic industry. We can train but the individual should have a strong mechanical / technical background

Understanding of large vessel systems specifically hydraulic systems

Complete vessel repairs and maintain knowledge of vessel systems

Utilize proper tooling and technical information

Identify hydraulic components, fittings and equipment

troubleshooting

Able to work in tight spaces

Detail oriented

Machine work experience

Hydraulic experience

Hose and fitting experience

Electrical experience

Prefer marine stabilization system experience

Company Description:

All American Marine Service is a Yacht Marine Service Company focusing on new installs/services/upgrades of bow and stern thrusters, advanced electronics, stabilization systems, davits, passerelles, windlasses and cylinder overhauls. (not limited to)

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Minimum 3 years' experience in the Marine Electronics/Hydraulics field ABYC Electrical certification, NMEA certification, any other manufacturer specific trainings / certifications Strong troubleshooting skills, and electrical theoretical knowledge and calculations Hydraulic Systems Ability to understand and produce electrical drawings Able to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers Familiar with general marine installation and wiring practices Must have most of your own tools and understand how to use power and hand tools
