Idaho Central Credit Union\xe2\x80\x99s mission is to help our members achieve financial success. As a Workstation Technician, you will work on projects independently and as part of a team to satisfy technical needs for the Credit Union and our members.

The salary range for this position is $57,293.6 - $79,071.40

Responsibilities

At work, your Primary Responsibilities will include:

• Delivering and setting up workstations and related hardware, software, and peripheral items.
• Researching and resolving any workstation issues, running Anti-Virus scans on workstations, and monitoring workstation performance.
• Leveraging desktop tools, performing computer imaging, and suggesting ways to improve user experiences.
• Teaching and guiding users regarding software and hardware functionality.
• Receiving assets, transporting equipment, and staging equipment for build/image activity.
• Executing equipment replacement activity, updating asset management system, and preparing assets for disposition.
• Providing front-line primary technical support to end users through troubleshooting workstation and user problems.
• Reassigning complex and/or high priority problems to be resolved by appropriate support groups.
• Working independently, collaborating with teammates, and assisting other technicians and analysts.
• Recording required team member and problem information in the designated trouble ticket
• Updating tickets, closing tickets, and journaling activity entries accurately.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems and software along with file/folders permissions.
• The ability to always maintain the confidentiality of the Credit Union and member records.

Also, please let us know in your application if you have:

• A post-secondary degree in Computer Science/Computer Information Systems or a related field.
• Experience related to Computer Science/Computer Information Systems.

This role will also require some physical abilities including the ability to sit for extended periods of time, lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies, reach keyboards, and operate basic office machines.
