The Woodlands is looking for a Temporary Sales Counselor

Assisted Living and Memory Support

The Sales Counselor is responsible for fulfilling and maintaining the occupancy/sales goals, enhancing the image of The Woodlands at Canterfield, and ensuring the satisfaction of current and prospective residents.

The Woodlands takes the health and safety of its employees, residents, patients, customers, and their families very seriously. What you will do:

The Sales Counselor will provide marketing support: Works with the Director of Sales & Marketing in the development and implementation of the Marketing Action Plan. Implements the responsibilities assigned in the Marketing Action Plan, meeting marketing and census goals and objectives, and keeping track of updates and budgetary expenses. Assists with special events and attends senior fairs held to generate leads and prospects. Compiles comparative analysis biannually of competitive communities. Maintains good working relationships with all referral sources, and generates new referral sources. Develops and maintains a good working relationship with all departments and entities of The Woodlands, assisting with resident activities or associate functions, as requested by the Executive Director.

Specific Tasks include but are not limited to;

  • Sales, Prospect or Lead Generation and Handling
  • Responds to inquiries and maintains accurate records of follow-up on individual clients and prospects
  • Follows each prospect from initial inquiry through the final decision and action made, following established fulfillment guidelines.
  • Conducts tours for potential residents, ensuring they have a positive perspective of the community and are knowledgeable of the various programs and services provided.
  • Implements proper follow-up procedures including tours, mailings, and phone calls.
  • Attains telemarketing goal benchmarks.
  • Maintains a thorough working proficiency on the lead management software to perform all necessary activity including the following: entering new prospect information into the system and updating as necessary, maintaining daily census data, as well as occupancy records for individual apartments, scheduling follow-up calls, and generating daily, weekly, and monthly reports as requested, completing closing and move-in paperwork/contracts and ensuring customer understanding of the proper application, assessment, and move-in policy and procedures.

What we are looking for on your application:
  • BA/BS degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.(Preferred)
  • Or one or more years of sales or business development experience
