This position will be located at the East Alton, IL facility. The starting wage for an Anneal and Wash Operator is $24.73/hour. • Duties are split between Anneal and Wash area.
• Anneal Area:
  • Maneuver barrels of shell heads off skids and transport with 2-wheel hand truck.
  • Add cleaning agents to the machines and monitor shell anneal process.
• Wash Area:
  • Maneuver barrels of shell heads onto skid hoist and dump into large wash tub.
  • Add hot water, soap, and cleaning agents as required.
  • Use hand controls and inspect shell heads for quality.
• Utilizes sit-down and walk-behind forklifts.
• Adheres to all safety requirements including lockout/tagout and wearing required PPE.

Position Requirements*:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience operating a sit-down and walk-behind forklift preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods, pull/push 100 lbs infrequently, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
• Must be able to work rotating weekly shifts (midnights, afternoons, days), weekends, and forced overtime.
• This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
• This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate\'s ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
