What You'll Do:

You'll work with our Recreational Therapist to make sure our students are having amazing, engaging weekends filled with fun activities. Here's what that looks like:
Keep the Fun Going:
Ensure scheduled activities happen as planned across our residential houses
Jump in with creative alternatives when weather or circumstances change plans
Travel on off-campus outings to support staff and help students fully participate
Create spontaneous activities for students who stay on campus
Move between houses to help get everyone ready, gather supplies, and keep the energy high
Start new games or activities when a house needs a fresh boost of engagement
Be a Team Player:
Collaborate with weekend supervisors to ensure smooth operations
Share ideas and suggestions to make activities even better
Communicate important information between shifts and departments
Be flexible and work where you're needed most
Schedule Options:
---------------------
Part-Time:
Saturdays & Sundays, 9am-7pm (20 hours/week)
Full-Time:
Weekend hours above PLUS weekday shifts as a residential assistant (up to 40 hours/week)
Weekday hours are flexible and can be discussed based on your interests and our needs
What Makes You Perfect for This Role:

You have:
High energy and enthusiasm for activities and recreation
Experience leading or organizing activities (camps, recreation programs, youth groups, etc.)
Ability to think on your feet and adapt quickly
A positive attitude and great communication skills
Physical stamina (lifting up to 40 lbs., staying active throughout your shift)
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver's license required
Bonus points for:
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Background in recreational therapy, education, or youth programs
Additional Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old
Pass all background screenings (no felonies, no convictions involving abuse, assault, neglect, or anything involving children)
Pass a drug screen
