POSITION SUMMARY:

The Web Specialist will collaborate cross functionally and with external partners and vendors as required to help develop and execute against the organization\'s digital and web strategies.

The main responsibilities include implementing content and design updates and page fixes, developing landing pages, conducting user acceptance testing, and supporting web enhancements for B2C and B2B websites. This individual will work closely with the web-marketing manager, product owner, marketing managers and web development teams to execute content updates, problem fixes and enhancements for BeTheMatch.org and BeTheMatchClinical.org family of sites. ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Fulfill digital and web-related business requests such as content and design updates to existing web assets, creating and publishing new landing pages, developing lead generation forms, lightboxes, and other digital engagement solutions.
• Partner with creative team members to produce digital interface designs for prototype testing, and assist with running user acceptance testing, usability testing, a/b testing and other validation methods.
• Collaborate with Marketing Managers, Product Owners, and Project Coordinators to determine project needs, requirements, specifications, scope, and timelines.
• Document and organize project tasks and assist with web ticketing team assignments, to ensure the team delivers tactics on time within a deadline-driven environment.
• Develop a solid understanding of the Be The Match web and digital properties, and identify areas for optimization or improvement.
• Over time, proactively identify web and digital opportunities that support strategic focus areas, and build subject matter expertise for guiding creative decisions.
• Maintain a broad knowledge of design, user experience, interaction design, user interface design, development trends, and emerging technologies.
• QA test and validate web design and code before releasing live.
• Collaborate to define and generate web analytics via Google Analytics 360.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of:

• Digital design, user experience and SEO best practices, tools, and methodologies.
• Experience with content management systems and digital asset management systems, like Sitecore, Adobe AEM, WordPress, etc.
• Basic HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and integration with back-end systems, APIs, and SDKs a plus.
• Google Analytics 360 setup, administration, and reporting.
• Digital technologies, trends, and emerging technologies.

Ability to:

• Develop web designs within a content management system, leveraging coding skills to modify, customize, and troubleshoot.
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in digital design and interaction usability.
• Be an advocate for the end user, and their experience.
• Work independently with a moderate amount of supervision.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills and is a team player.
• Prioritize and organize work in a fast-paced environment.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor\'s degree covering digital/web design, human-computer interaction, web development or similar.
• 2 years of experience in a web content management, digital/web design, interaction design, front end development or similar. Experience working on digital projects from conception through bidding, production, and delivery.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (Additional qualifications that may make a person even more effective in the role, but are not required for consideration)

• Experience working in an Agile environment. Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Lean, and/or Kanban a plus
