Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Wealth Relationship Manager (WRM) works with the WealthSouth (WS) team of specialists to ensure delivery and execution of the client experience and service standards. Through collaboration with WealthSouth specialists, the WRM works to identify prospect needs. Once individual needs are determined, the WRM is responsible for working with team members to ensure appropriate information exchange and necessary resources are available to meet client objectives.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



1. Develops and prospects internal and external centers of influence to build and cultivate new client relationships for WealthSouth.



2. Identifies opportunities for new client relationships. Works with WS specialists to identify and meet client needs.



3. Works to establish proficiency in the utilization of consultative and advice driven sales and managing the execution of client service standards to develop and retain lasting client relationships.



4. Collaborates with a customized team of specialists to deliver high-quality client service.



5. Works with a team of specialists to ensure client service standards are met based on needs, asset allocation, and risk management.



6. Works with the team to coordinate and collaborate with client third party advisors (e.g., attorney, accountant) to ensure synergy of advisors' recommendations, consistent to client goals.



7. Partners with internal and external service providers to optimize effectiveness and efficiency.



8. As the potential primary contact, resolves problems in a timely and effective manner.



9. Progression towards the ability to provide the client with information regarding current trends and commands a thorough knowledge of investment products, trading strategies and market dynamics.



10. Establishes and maintains satisfactory knowledge of risk management, trust, private banking, estate planning, and wealth planning matters.



OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:



1. Performs other work-related duties as assigned.



2. Performs Job Duties in Accordance with all appropriate laws and regulations to include BSA.



PHYSICAL DEMANDS:



While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to speak English and hear. The employee spends 90% of the day sitting at a desk. Occasionally, the employee will stand and walk (10%) of the day. The employee may be required to lift up to 15 pounds to perform their job.



EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:



1. College degree required. Banking course work with emphasis on trust functions, law in banking or accounting is preferred.



2. 2-5 years of applicable experience.



3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.



4. Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)



5. Ability to understand and promote sales within the banking culture.



Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm, additional hours as needed.
