The Warehouse Supply & Inventory Clerk will be responsible to perform general supply and physical inventory management duties necessary to assist the property & supply staff and ensure the operations of the department are effective and efficient to meet at the needs of all departments and programs in the hospital.
Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

Pickup and delivery of USPS Mail or other delivery services
Accept and receive freight from delivery services, log packages and deliver to departments or programs
Pull orders and delivery to department and programs
Investigates discrepancies in shipment errors resulting in incorrect quantities, substitutions, duplications, and price changes
Accepts all packages from delivery that come into the facility; responsible for logging all packages into the delivery register as packages are accepted; delivers packages to appropriate departments and secures a signature ensuring proof of the delivery
Maintain supply stock status in warehouse
Contact vendors to obtain price quotes for purchasing supplies or equipment
Create purchase orders from quotes received; once approved contact vendor for shipment dates
Receive and put away purchases utilizing software programs to ensure accuracy
Become proficient and an expert with the inventory computer M system
Complete supply and physical inventories as directed by supervisor
Knowledge and experience with utility carts, two-wheel carts and pallet jacks for heavy items.
Make recommendations for improving and simplifying warehouse processes
Meet performance goals established by WCHS management
Completed all mandatory trainings assigned to employee by WCHS management
Attend required departmental and facility staff meetings
Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required as facility and job duties demand
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications/Skills
High school diploma or GED
Valid state driver's license and be insurable under the insurance program at the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska
Good attendance is required
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to utilize software programs for supply management and budget controls
Enthusiastic and dedicated to resolve challenges and helping other people
Knowledge of supply stock level, rotation and identify expired dates preferred
Knowledge of Safety Data Sheet (SDS) or Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) preferred
Experience working around moving warehouse equipment, carts or machines preferred
Practice safe working habits and use all safety precautions to minimize injury from falling items, falls from ladders, and working around moving warehouse equipment.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up
May be require usage of protective clothing or gear such as masks, gowns, safety shoes, goggles and gloves.
Ability to analysis and resolve problems or discrepancies
Function collaboratively with co-workers and vendors and provide excellent customer service
Professional in communications, appearance, relationships, and responsiveness
Self-motivated with the ability to perform and work with little or no direct supervision
Cross-training is required for this position
Ability to pass drug screen, background check, and facility health screen.
Physical Requirements
Working in the warehouse or storage areas when receiving and stocking shipments, conducting inventories, retrieving or delivering items, there will be long periods (ranges from 5-7 hours per day) of standing and walking; recurring bending, crouching stooping, stretching, pushing, reaching and straining, and recurring lifting of light to moderately, to heavy items.
The employee will lift boxes, packages, equipment, etc. daily weighing from 0 to 40 pounds; if boxes and packages weigh over 40 pounds, the employee will ask for assistance in lifting the box and/or package
Ability to pull and push a cart with 0-50 pounds of weight
Physical ability to occasionally work outside in variable temperatures
Language Requirements
Ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluently.
Ability to continually and effectively employ professional verbal and written communications skills.
