Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing various aspects of warehouse shipping and receiving, job picking, computer data entry, and using a pallet jack to ensure efficient and safe handling of materials. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in inventory management, materials handling, and data entry. This position offers an opportunity to work independently in a warehouse environment within a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

Accurately maintain inventory flow for multiple jobs, and timely communicate to department heads the status of completion of said jobs . Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods using heavy lifting techniques. Manage shipping and receiving processes, verifying inventory accuracy, and documenting movements. Accurately maintain minimum stock levels and communicate stock replenishment orders in a timely fashion. Backup purchasing personnel as needed. Assist with fleet maintenance tasks as needed, including vehicle pickup and delivery. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA regulations and safety protocols. Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating the movement of materials within the facility using appropriate equipment. Professionally interact with field personnel to facilitate the issue and return of job materials and products safely and efficiently. Process RMA requests and ensure proper documentation is maintained. Engage efficiently with accounting staff during annual physical inventory. Process annual physical inventory. Building maintenance and other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Proven experience in warehouse operations, distribution, or related fields. Must be detail-oriented with a passion for being mistake-free. Hands-on experience with pallet jacks. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics inventory and purchasing modules. Strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft 365. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to warehouse environments. Mechanical aptitude or knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting or maintaining vehicles. Strong physical ability for heavy lifting and materials handling tasks. Previous experience in shipping & receiving processes is preferred. Warehouse supervisor experience is a plus but not required; leadership skills are desirable for advancement opportunities. A background in construction or materials handling can be advantageous. This role is vital to maintaining efficient warehouse operations while ensuring safety standards are met at all times. Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
