FIG is seeking a dependable Warehouse Material Handler who is detail oriented and possesses the physical and mental stamina this role requires. You will play an important role in ensuring our warehouse operates with optimum precision and efficiency, helping to fulfill orders and prepare them for shipment. We use new equipment, have a clean and orderly working environment and the existing team is motivated. Job Duties and Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Primary lead for all shipping and receiving. Maintain inventory and shop environment. \xc2\xb7 Work under supervision as well as independently. \xc2\xb7 Help to efficiently carry out all product loading and unloading tasks. \xc2\xb7 Properly scan and track incoming and outgoing orders. \xc2\xb7 Receive and process new inventory, ensuring contents match manifest documents. \xc2\xb7 Inspect receivables for defects, damages or missing items. \xc2\xb7 Unload, stack, move and place products in designated areas. \xc2\xb7 Use forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts, etc. to transfer and deliver goods. \xc2\xb7 Perform detailed manual inventory counts. \xc2\xb7 Meticulously check items to verify the accuracy of outgoing orders. \xc2\xb7 Follow all warehouse policies and standard operating procedures (SOP\'s). \xc2\xb7 Diligently adhere to health and safety rules and regulations. \xc2\xb7 Wear protective clothing and equipment as required. \xc2\xb7 Work with other team members to effectively complete assigned tasks. Requirements and Qualifications \xc2\xb7 High school diploma or GED equivalent \xc2\xb7 Computer literate. Microsoft Office knowledge highly recommended. \xc2\xb7 Previous warehouse experience preferred. \xc2\xb7 Forklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift training. \xc2\xb7 Physical stamina; must be able to lift 30-50+ pounds at a time. \xc2\xb7 Able to work long hours on one\xe2\x80\x99s feet and perform physically demanding tasks. \xc2\xb7 OK with shift work and possible overtime hours. \xc2\xb7 Excellent verbal communicator. \xc2\xb7 Familiar with common warehouse tools and equipment. \xc2\xb7 Thorough, alert and detail oriented. \xc2\xb7 Dependable and responsible with a strong work ethic. We are open Monday - Friday with weekends off.
