Daytime position with competitive pay

Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

$22.50 / hour (opportunity for a quarterly bonus after 90 days)

The Warehouse Lead reports to the Warehouse Manager and supports the effective and efficient operation of warehousing, distribution, and transportation activities. This role combines hands-on warehouse work with leadership, training, and process oversight to ensure operation standards and success.

Responsibilities:

Warehouse operations include accurate and efficient receiving, slotting, shipping, inventory management, and organization of administrative areas. Operate powered industrial equipment to load and unload materials, and transport products to storage areas, docks, and trucks. Assist in training, guidance, and support of fellow warehouse staff to complete tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently. Ensure adherence to established processes and procedures that meet customer expectations and align with company-wide best practices. Communicate clearly and respectfully through both verbal and written instructions. Perform data entry, process stock and orders using RF scanner technology, and occasionally utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to enter, track and manage inventory. Inspect materials for defects or quality issues, document inspections, and ensure corrective actions are taken when necessary. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including sweeping, mopping, and organizing pallet areas, shelves, and aisles.

Requirements:

Previous leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution center High school diploma or GED Certified Forklift Operator Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with leadership, team members, and customers Ability to operate power tools and warehouse equipment as needed Physical ability to work in a warehouse environment, lift up to 50 lbs., and operate forklifts and/or trucks
