Summary This position does parts returns, files discrepancies and shortages, and does core returns for all CMI vendors. In addition, this position receives, stores and distributes parts, tools and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions. Essential Functions
Ensure that all surplus and incorrect parts, and remanufactured parts cores are return as dictated by each manufacturers schedule.
Issue credits for returned parts and cores.
Work with the accounting department with parts department aged receivables.
Maintain a shipping log of all returns and incorrect part shipments.
Prepare parcels for mailing and shipping via truck, air and water transportation.
Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness always.
In addition
Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to customers and other departments as needed.
Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.
Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins per predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute items to the service department or staging areas for shipping to technicians in the field.
Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for service technicians and customer traffic.
Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
Assist in counting of physical inventory monthly and annually.
May be assigned facilities maintenance duties and special projects as needed.
Call customers for part Will Call
Maintain proper certification to perform the duties assigned i.e. forklift, CFR49, IATA and D.O.T. physical.
Be willing to be trained as a relief parts counter person.
Other Duties as assigned
Work overtime as needed.

Education and Experience
High School Diploma
Forklift Operation and Safety
Minimum Two Years Automotive or Heavy Equipment Parts Experience.
Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may occasionally be required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. 8-hour shift
Monday to Friday, weekend rotation
