Job Description
MUST have CNA License-currently active and unencumbered Must be 18 years old. Review Admission information for accuracy and completeness. Organize medical record into established order for permanent filing. note deficiencies to be completed by physician and professional staff maintain follow up record for completeness upon discharge, assemble and review medical record for completeness ensure receipt of records of residents discharged residents and retrieve any prior records for inclusion with current records. responsible for implementing discharge summaries with physician and staff file medical records of discharged residents according to established policies Ascertain existence of medical record policies and procedures. Maintain a documented, organized system readily accessible for authorized staff Prepare reports as requested Maintain confidentiality at all times Experience in Medical Transcription a plus Knowledge of Medical Terminology required. * Familiar with reading physician orders and medications.
