PSE\'s Policy & Energy Supply team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Visitor\'s Center Host position!



Hours will vary (32-40 hours) and be dependent upon the need. This position requires an alternative work schedule, within the days of Wednesday through Sunday. Hours will be 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Visitor Center will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays weekly.

Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE\'s operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.

Demonstrates commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide visitors and customers with education and historical information about the local community, Puget Sound Energy, and Baker River Hydroelectric
• Provide light tours around the Visitor Center campus.
• Keep visitor log and counts daily
• Reports deficiencies at work areas, so that we can keep areas maintained and safe.
• Be courteous and professional at all times.
• Have the ability to learn new material quickly and communicate if effectively, in both verbal and written form.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work with a team, and be able to communicate with diverse groups.
• Light janitorial work
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1 year prior customer service or related experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Upon hire, will be required to obtain a Department of Health card.

Desired Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Previous experience with presenting material, or providing tours.

Additional Information

The pay range for this position is $36,900.00 - $53,000.00. This position is temporary and not benefits eligible.
