We are currently seeking a skilled

Videographer / Video Editor

to support a multi-month creative project involving on-location filming and post-production work for a public-facing initiative in Hawaii.

Position Overview

This role is responsible for capturing, editing, and delivering professional video content that communicates clearly, accurately, and creatively. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing both on-site production and post-production workflows.

This is a

contract-based role

with flexible scheduling, but

on-site presence in Hawai?i is required for filming

Key Responsibilities

Capture high-quality video footage on location (interviews, b-roll, environmental shots) Set up and manage lighting, audio, and camera equipment Edit video content into polished, professional final products Apply color correction, basic motion graphics, and captions as needed Collaborate with project leads to meet creative and technical requirements Manage and organize raw footage and final deliverables Adhere to project timelines and quality standards

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in videography and video editing Proficiency with professional camera equipment and editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and sound Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Reliable transportation within Hawai?i Availability for on-location filming as scheduled

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on documentary, educational, or public-sector content Familiarity with motion graphics or light animation Experience collaborating with designers or creative teams

Compensation

Hourly Rate:

Competitive, based on experience
