Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a Video Editor / Creator to join our in-house creative team in Medina, OH. This role is about crafting compelling visual narratives--splicing footage, adding motion, and shaping stories that resonate across social platforms. The ideal candidate is fast, flexible, and fluent in both editing software and internet culture. You'll work closely with designers, writers, and strategists to produce video content that drives engagement and inspires action.

What You'll Do

Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, digital campaigns, and presentations. Collaborate with the creative team to develop visual concepts and storytelling approaches. Cut, splice, and arrange footage to create dynamic, emotionally resonant narratives. Add motion graphics, text overlays, and sound design to enhance storytelling. Optimize videos for platform-specific formats and audience behaviors. Stay current with video trends, editing techniques, and social media culture. Manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality content under tight deadlines. Present rough cuts and final edits to internal teams and clients.

Required Qualifications

Proven experience in video editing and content creation. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other relevant tools. Strong understanding of pacing, composition, and visual storytelling. Familiarity with social media platforms and how video performs on each. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and time management skills. Passion for creative activism and digital storytelling.

Nice-to-Haves:

A portfolio or reel showcasing a range of video work, especially social-first content. Experience working in creative agencies or freelance environments. Skills in motion design, animation, or sound editing. Familiarity with political or advocacy-related content. Background in film, media production, or visual communication. Ability to shoot video or direct small-scale productions.
