VP, Solutions Delivery

THE POSITION:

The Solutions Delivery team manages the delivery and turnover of data center space meeting the clients' requirements. They are client-focused and efficiency-driven, relying on project teams that consist of internal and external stakeholders. Client requirements range in scale from a cage environment to significant modifications of a multi-MW facility.
The VP, Solutions Delivery will manage the activities of the Delivery Managers to ensure alignment with the 4 pillars of Project Management by STACK: Budget, Quality, Schedule, and Safety. This role will work closely with other departments of the organization such as construction, finance, operations, and sales to ensure that the project is delivered on time and on budget to customer specifications. This position is part of the Client Solution Group which is comprised of Solution Engineering and Solution Delivery. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead the team and report upon project financial, schedule, safety, and relationship metrics. Build upon process and reporting of project functions, creating a controlled and deliberate approach. Manage vendor community, qualification, and onboarding. Ability to lean in and manage projects directly. Be willing to discover and solve the cause of issues creatively.

THE DETAILS:

Location: Remote or any STACK Data Center Travel: Will travel to data center facilities across the country. Up to 50% Must be eligible to work in the United States Must pass a comprehensive background screening.

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent. 8+ years data center project experience Have solid technological foundations and a proven track record in successfully delivering projects on time and on budget. Experience demonstrating ability to manage a small team handling multiple projects at different sites. Strong mechanical and electrical skills and data center experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Client Service focused Ability to multi-task, with strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to understand and follow clear directions and meet specific deadlines with reporting, communication, and project schedules. Team Player across the organization Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications. PMP preferred.
