Neurology Veterinary Technician

Responsibilities and Skills:

Assist with MRI/ CT procedures and diagnostics

Assist Neurologist with procedures

Able to properly restrain patients for a neurologic exam, venipuncture, and IV catheter placement

Ensure proper set up of exam rooms

Assist with appointments and client communication

Maintain stock of necessary supplies

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 years experience as a veterinary neurology technician,

VTS preferred

Able to work in a fast paced environment

Organized and have excellent time management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements:

This job is physically active and requires frequent bending and standing for long periods of time. It requires routine lifting and restraining animals. You must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Position: Flexible work schedule (ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays).
