Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center is hiring a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team in Emergency team in Waukesha, WI. This is a 3rd shift position.

About WVRC: WVRC, Waukesha is recognized as a certified Level 1 Emergency and Critical Care Facility by the Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care Society (VECCS).

Qualifications and Experience:

• Ability to work at least 1 shift every week
• Minimum of 1 year of technical experience (ER experience preferred but not required)
• CVT required
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Advocate for patient care
• Self-motivated with a passion for veterinary medicine
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Basic technical skill set such as restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement and general nursing care experience is needed. General anesthesia knowledge is preferred
