NOW HIRING A 3rd SHIFT VETERINARY ASSISTANT

Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center, located in Waukesha, is looking for a Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our outstanding Emergency team on 3nd Shift (midnight - 9 am)

About WVRC: We are a 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Animal Hospital and is one of 8 VECCS Certified Level 1 Trauma Centers in the world. We have three hospital locations: Waukesha, Racine and Grafton all dedicated to providing patients, clients, and referring veterinarians the highest quality emergency and specialty veterinary medical care. WVRC offers a warm, friendly atmosphere where our main goal is to provide compassionate care to our patients and clients as well as offering outstanding customer service.

About the Job:

• Restraining of patients
• Cleaning Kennels, Floors, etc.
• Stocking the treatment areas
• Laundry
• Assisting with patient care

About You:

• Able to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Positive outlook, a passion for providing the highest quality in patient care

Qualifications:

• Must have worked or volunteered working with dogs and cats at a clinic, Humane Society, Kennel, or similar for a minimum of 1 year
