OVERVIEW

The Venue at the Bakery Building is looking to add reliable and enthusiastic people who are interested in gaining event experience to our team! The Venue Representatives are responsible for providing day-of service to our renters during their event. Thus, Venue Representatives will provide courteous and helpful assistance to Renters and their guests from the start of their rental period, through out their setup, during their event, and through exit and cleaning. You will be responsible for working events such as weddings, conferences, parties, dances, fund-raisers, etc. This job is ideal for those who have availability on weekends and those looking for experiences in events.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but are not limited to):

Building positive relationships with The Venue's clients and vendors. Performing Pre-, During, and Post-event inspections using the provided proper documentation. Communicating with the renter on the event day to solidify any special needs for the event. Being active in making sure that the Renter is not violating any of the terms and conditions set forth in
The Venue Rental Agreement and Contract (Venue Manager will review the terms with you) and handling issues as they arise.

Proactively ensuring The Venue looks its best by surveying the premises for trash, cleaning and stocking the bathrooms, cleaning spills, making sure The Venue is presentable at all times, etc. Being accessible for the renter to ask questions at any time, this entails being visible and available for the entire event. Setting up/tearing down tables, chairs, and sound/audio/visual equipment inside and outside.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required. You will have an encouraging, approachable, confident, and professional manner as a clear and thorough communicator with renters, vendors, manager, other staff, guests, and ownership. Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. Teamwork Diligence Perseverance Helpfulness Problem-solving skills
