Job Title: Unit Manager LPN

Location: Lincoln, NE

Department: Nursing

Reports to: DON

Position Type: Full-Time Salary

Shifts Available: M-F, Rotating on Call, 8:30am-5:00pm

Responsibilities:

Leadership:

Lead and manage a team of LPNs, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and support.

Quality Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance patient outcomes, streamline workflows, and increase efficiency.

Patient Care:

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the unique needs of each patient are met.

Staff Development:

Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Communication:

Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.

Requirements:

Education:

Associate's degree in Nursing or related field (or equivalent experience)

Experience:

At least 3 years of experience in a long-term care setting, with a focus on leadership and management

Licensure:

Current LPN licensure in the state of Nebraska

Certifications:

Current CPR certification and BLS certification

Skills:

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
