Position Description:
Multiband Global is seeking an Underground Drop Technician, who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is eager to learn and grow.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare the work site to locate utilities and eliminate hazards
- Signal operators to facilitate the movement or alignment of equipment
- Load, unload and transport construction materials and tools
- Excavate and fill trenches/ditches
- Install underground telecommunications cable/inner duct
- Follow safety standards throughout the process
Job Requirements:
- Must possess a strong commitment to customer service and an enthusiastic demeanor
- Must be able to work flexible hours
- Must have a valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s license - Class A CDL preferred
- Preferred Must be able to lift/push/pull 50 pounds regularly
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with using a wobble shovel or vibrating plow
- Experience in underground utilities
- Experience installing fiber optic cables preferred
- Willing to travel
