The Site Security Team provides security services with a continuous client. Hours range from part time to full time, all shifts available. Service is provided 7 days/week.

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Guard to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first line of defense in safeguarding our facilities, assets, and personnel. Your energetic presence and keen eye for detail will ensure a safe and secure environment for everyone on site. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the safety of our community while developing your skills in security operations, surveillance, conflict management, and customer service.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas regularly to deter unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or other security breaches.
Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises.
Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies by assessing situations accurately and taking appropriate action.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies or emergency responders during incidents requiring their involvement.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, visitor entries/exits, and security checks through shift reports and incident documentation.
Enforce safety protocols and conflict management procedures calmly and effectively to de-escalate tense situations.
Participate in ongoing training related to security procedures, surveillance technology, conflict resolution, and emergency response strategies.
Follow worksite safety protocol of client at all times.
Skills
Demonstrated ability to remain alert and vigilant over extended periods while patrolling or monitoring surveillance systems.
Strong knowledge of security protocols, loss prevention techniques, and conflict management strategies.
Experience operating security technology such as access control systems or alarm panels.
Background in law enforcement or military service is highly advantageous and preferred.
Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members, visitors, and emergency responders.
Ability to handle stressful situations professionally while maintaining composure under pressure.
This patrol includes use of company vehicle. Clean driving record is required.
