Duties

Conduct Patrols on Foot Conduct Vehicle Patrols Monitor CCTV Write Hourly Logs & Reports Monitor CCTV and Alert Law Enforcement if anyone is loitering or trespassing Monitor security cameras and alarm systems continuously to ensure all areas are secure and respond promptly to alerts. Enforce access control procedures by verifying credentials and managing visitor or employee entry in accordance with established policies. Respond effectively to incidents such as trespassing, theft, or disturbances by applying conflict management techniques and coordinating with law enforcement when necessary. Provide first aid and CPR in emergency situations while assessing the severity of injuries or health issues until professional medical assistance arrives. Prepare detailed incident reports documenting observations, actions taken, and outcomes for record-keeping and future reference. Assist with loss prevention strategies by identifying suspicious activities and implementing measures to reduce theft or damage. Collaborate with team members to develop security protocols, participate in drills, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security procedures, legal requirements, and emergency response techniques through ongoing training.

Skills

Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields demonstrating strong discipline and situational awareness. Proficiency in surveillance technology including CCTV systems and alarm monitoring equipment. Knowledge of conflict management strategies and ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified. Familiarity with loss prevention methods and security best practices. Ability to respond swiftly and appropriately during emergencies while maintaining composure under pressure. Excellent communication skills for clear reporting, teamwork, and liaising with law enforcement agencies when required. Pay: $18.00 per hour
