Tugger Operator

LACOSTA is looking for a General Cleaner to join our team in Lenexa, KS!

We conduct a background check and drug testing

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 40hrs/week

1st Shift: 8:00 AM-4:30PM 2nd Shift: 2:00PM-10:30PM *OVERTIME REQUIRED for the first few weekends during busy season!

Pay Rate: Paid weekly (every Friday)

$16.00/hr

Job Duties:

Responsible for operating a

cardboard baler

and

forklifts

to compact, handle, and transport cardboard bales to designated storage or shipping areas. Ensures efficient collection, processing, and movement of recyclable materials to support facility cleanliness and sustainability efforts.

Operate acardboard baler to compress scrap cardboard into bales according to company procedures. Use forklifts or other material-handling equipment to move and stage bales in designated areas or prepare them for pickup/shipping. Monitor baler operations and perform basic maintenance checks to ensure safe and continuous operation. Support the overall cleanliness of the warehouse by assisting with general material handling and housekeeping tasks as assigned. Comply with all safety guidelines, including proper PPE usage

Requirements:

Pass background check and drug screening

Must comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures. Physical requirements: walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting 50lbs independently. Must wear LACOSTA provided uniform and PPE, as well as your own

steel-toed shoes/boots

while working. Remove all jewelry and accessories.
