Davis Tree Care is Hiring Tree Climbers!!
The tree climber position is for those who love learning, working outdoors, will at all times adhere to cutting edge safety guidelines. A tree climber is responsible for tree maintenance , pruning and residentials and commercial and municipal properties using ropes, harness, saddle and/or company policy.
Must/preferred: have a valid driver's license
Preferred: 3+ years of climbing experience
able to lift 75-100lbs
have ability to perform strenuous labor in all weather condition
work all year around
1. Climbing trees using approved climbing equipment according
to industry standards
2. Trimming, pruning, shaping trees and shrubs according to
industry standards
3. Static and dynamic cabling, bracing, bolting, guying trees and
branches
4. Specialized skills needed to operate and perform general maintenance on equipment such as a chipper, stump grinder, and chainsaw, and other various tools in a safe and responsible manner, according to company standards.
5. Ability to tie tree industry knots
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
