Responsibilities

Perform tree trimming and removal tasks safely and efficiently using climbing techniques and equipment. Operate bucket trucks for high-access tree care tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Utilize rigging methods to lower branches and sections of trees safely to the ground. Conduct regular inspections of trees to identify health issues or hazards that may require attention. Assist with landscape maintenance activities, including lawn care and general landscaping duties as needed. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to client satisfaction.

Requirements

Proven experience in tree care, including tree trimming and climbing techniques. Familiarity with rigging practices and safe operations of bucket trucks is highly desirable. Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems) as it relates to landscape management is a plus. Background in horticulture or related fields is preferred, with growing experience being an asset. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work.
