Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in medical-surgical and telemetry settings. Monitor and assess patient vital signs and health status regularly. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities. Engage in performance measurement and strive to meet established targets. Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families on health management and recovery processes. Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times. Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately and timely. Utilize technology and tools to enhance patient care and workflow efficiency. Maintain high visibility of work activities and outcomes to management. Support a positive team environment and contribute to team goals.

Experience/Qualifications

Current RN license in South Carolina or compact state. Commitment to continuous professional development and training. Experience in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing settings. Proficient in administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Strong accountability for individual performance and results. Strong ability to monitor and assess patient vital signs effectively. Ability to collaborate with healthcare teams for patient care planning. Familiarity with safety and infection control protocols. Positive attitude towards working in a results-driven environment. Experience in educating patients and families on health management. Proficient in documenting patient care activities accurately. Ability to utilize technology to enhance patient care and workflow.
