Responsibilities
Assist in cardiovascular surgeries ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies during operations.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
Collaborate with surgical team to prepare operating room and equipment.
Participate in continuous professional development and training sessions.
Contribute to a high-performance team environment focused on achieving targets.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for each procedure.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families about procedures.
Adapt to new technologies and methodologies in cardiovascular surgery.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Utilize data and pipelines to assess and improve surgical outcomes.
Provide mentorship and support to junior staff and new team members.
Experience/Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room as a Travel RN.
BLS and ACLS certifications required, CNOR preferred.
Proven track record of achieving targets in a healthcare environment.
Proficiency in using surgical equipment and technology in cardiovascular procedures.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in high-stakes surgical environments.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in cardiovascular surgery.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with surgical teams.
Ability to maintain detailed and accurate patient records for compliance.
Adaptability to new surgical technologies and methodologies.
Willingness to mentor and support junior staff and new team members.
