Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing ophthalmologic evaluations and procedures Assist physicians with diagnostic tests, treatments, and minor procedures related to retinal care Administer medications and perform IV insertions with a high degree of proficiency Monitor patient responses and document clinical observations accurately Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care Maintain a safe and clean clinical environment in compliance with healthcare regulations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient specialty care or ophthalmology BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required Ophthalmology experience is mandatory Experienced Med-Surg nurses with strong IV skills will also be considered
