Transportation and Infrastructure Great Lakes Regional Sales Representative

Our is seeking Regional Sales Representative to work in the Great Lakes region. The territory includes Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Tennessee. Key areas of focus are to develop, manage and execute your sales plan, meet or exceed sales and profitability goals, and assist in the development of new market areas and new products.

What you will do as a Regional Sales Representative:

  • Develop strong relationships with Transportations & Infrastructure customers, contractors, specifiers, and end-users in their marketplace to establish regular communication with those contacts
  • Generate new sales and project creation to accomplish individual, department, and team goals
  • Identify and define key relationships and decision-makers to maximize Musco\xe2\x80\x99s position on projects
  • Effectively present Musco\'s products and services to customers
  • Assess customers\xe2\x80\x99 lighting needs and determine which Musco products and services best suit their needs
  • Prepare quotes or budget estimates for customers\' lighting needs with pricing tools.
  • Negotiate prices and agreements including credit terms and collection.
  • Ensure that project information and documentation in the sales database are accurate, maintained, and up to date
  • Interface with technical staff to accomplish design production and installation of the product
  • Participate in weekly updates on current projects
What you need to be successful:
  • College degree in Business, Communications, or Marketing and at least two years of sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A proven track record of sales success with a technical product is required
  • Experience with reviewing AutoCAD, Project Plans, and Google Earth is preferred
  • Self-directed and able to make informed decisions independently
  • Ability to learn, understand, and teach technical concepts and information
  • Analyze and communicate bid and tender documents
  • Demonstrate organizational, customer service, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office, MS Teams, email, internet, and general PC and Mobile device use
Other special requirements:
  • Extensive travel is required (50%)
