About the Role

Lancaster Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dependable and compassionate

Transport Aide

to safely assist residents with transportation needs within our facility and to outside appointments. This is a

non-CNA position

ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, working as part of a team, and making a difference in the daily lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, and activities within or outside the facility Assist residents in and out of wheelchairs and transport vehicles as needed Ensure resident comfort and safety during all transport activities Maintain cleanliness and organization of transport equipment and vehicles Communicate effectively with nursing, therapy, and administrative teams regarding transport schedules Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate compassion and patience with residents and families

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Previous experience working with seniors or in healthcare preferred, but not required Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude

Schedule

Full-Time,

Monday - Friday

9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Occasional flexibility may be required for special events or appointments
