Your Role at Baxter: The Training and Development Specialist collaborates with the Service Training Enablement team to build and deliver specialized training materials for medical products, which will be incorporated into portfolio-specific training programs delivered by certified Regional Master Trainers. The Training and Development Specialist will apply their technical expertise in the medical field to develop effective and comprehensive training programs. The Training and Development Specialist directly reports to the Manager, Service Training Programs & Initiatives and has no direct reports. What you\'ll be doing: As a collaborative and engaging Training and Development Specialist, you will:

  • Partner with the Service Training Enablement team to design and deliver exceptional instructor-led learning experiences that are accessible and interactive for learners.
  • Develop and deliver a variety of effective learning solutions, including experiential lab work, virtual instructor-led training, and face-to-face sessions.
  • Work closely with peers to create impactful business engagement and communication materials that support the delivery of effective training.
  • Provide critical feedback and input on overall training strategy as part of the Global Service Training team\'s shift towards a Regional Master Trainer model.
  • Ensure training readiness and alignment with product and service release dates through collaboration with training enablement leaders.
  • Conduct detailed learning needs analysis to identify priority areas for training development.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive tool kits and knowledge centers for self-paced learning.
  • Mentor and support Regional Master Trainers in the field to ensure consistent and effective delivery of technical training.
  • Deliver Virtual and in-person Instructor led technical training to internal and external customers.
What you\'ll bring:
  • Bachelors degree preferred, or 2+ years of training and development experience.
  • Medical Device experience required.
  • Analysis experience required.
  • Ability to travel 10-20% of the time and work some long hours to complete projects.
  • Familiarity working with LMS. Cornerstone, preferred.
  • Technical training skills, preferred.
  • Understanding of adult learning styles.
  • Project management experience\xe2\x80\x94from conceptualization to deployment
  • Instructional design conceptual understanding
  • Comfort in working in a highly collaborative environment
  • Strategy building and continuous improvement demeanor
  • Ability to partner with peers to find solutions
  • Product/service knowledge across all GBUs
  • Critical thinking and strong organizational skills
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $60,000 - $132,000 plus an annual incentive bonus. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
