Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Toolmaker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, repair and maintaining precision tools and dies used in the production process. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and the ability to work with various materials. The Toolmaker will collaborate with engineers and production staff to ensure that tools meet specifications and quality standards.

Duties

Design and fabricate precision tools, dies, and custom fixtures according to specifications. Operate Tool Room Equipment. Conduct assembly of tooling components while ensuring adherence to quality standards. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot tooling issues and implement improvements.

Requirements

Previous toolmaker experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Ability to work independently and as a team Proficient in the operation of lathes, milling machines and grinders Problem solving skills Attention to detail Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
