We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, with a focus on fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curriculum, promoting literacy and math skills, and supporting the overall development of pre preschool-aged children (2-3 years old).
Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Create lesson plans that incorporate various teaching methods, including Montessori techniques and hands-on activities.
Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
Manage classroom behavior effectively while providing guidance and support to students.
Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and classroom activities.
Collaborate with special education professionals to support children with diverse learning needs.
Maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment in compliance with childcare regulations.
Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of childhood development.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom or daycare setting.
Strong understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing practices.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff.
Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports all learners, including those requiring early intervention or special education services.
Experience in teaching literacy education, math concepts, physical education, or tutoring is highly desirable.
