Providing customized product development, strategic collaborations and servicing as a bridge between customers and global R&D teams
Conduct market research on U.S automotive thermal trends
Collaborate with global R&D teams to drive product performance and innovation
Identify potential business and to provide technical solutions to customers
Ensure timely, high quality project delivery
Develop and maintain long term relationship with major automotive OEMs
Provide appropriate technical guidance and support customer
Responsible for sales activities including price negotiation, providing technical presentations, explanations
Other Duties as assigned by Management.
Thermal Customer Solutions Engineer Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Thermal Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 year of thermal engineering or e-compressors experience
Minimum 5 year of automotive R&D experience
Customer facing experience is a plus
Must be able to travel up to 10-30% within Midwest
Must have excellent presentation skills
Experience with working in a Japanese related environment is a plus
Some engineering knowledge or technical support or automotive industrial experience is required
This position will not support visa sponsorships
This position includes manufacturing and office work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
