Job description for Therapy Restorative Aide

Pediatric Complex Care of Arkansas is looking for

Full-Time Therapy Restorative Aides

to join our therapy team. Applicants should be self-starters, focused, and have some knowledge of human anatomy. Rehab training, recreational/educational activities or previous Restorative Aide experience is a plus. Part-time employment would be considered for a committed undergraduate student interested in related disciplines (therapy or medical).

The Therapy Restorative Aides will be available to assist licensed therapists with the care of our residents and the teachers with classroom activities. The Therapy Restorative Aide will be responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, and organization of all therapy equipment and supplies.

e will need to be available to work between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM.

Therapy Restorative Aide Responsibilities

Assists with clinics, and sensory activities Assist with resident mobile therapy, gait trainer, and standers. Assist with Oral Motor and abdominal massages Monitor and apply TLSO, orthotics, and accurate lifting procedures. Provide therapeutic feeds and hand hygiene programs as needed Complete medical documentation for all tasks and activities. Other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Should be a self-starter able to readjust when needed Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs Must be able to endure long periods of standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Must be able to hear and respond to pages. Must be able to distinguish smells and temperatures. One year of college or advanced training is a must.

Safety sensitive position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
