Description:Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire in Grand Prairie, Texas is seeking an experienced System Integration Engineer who will be involved in detailed software and hardware design and supporting hardware and software integration/verification in support of testing the PAC-3/MSE Missile and subsystems for flight tests. Applicant should be a proven problem solver who can multi-task in a complex interrelated environment.
Candidates must understand electronics testing methods. Requires knowledge of industry wide tests and test equipment. Candidate will provide flow charts, block diagrams, schematics, and interface control documents. This role will support the writing of test requirements, test description documents, operating instruction, and installation procedures. This role will support Peer Reviews, Design Assurance Reviews, Pre/Post Verification Readiness Reviews, etc as needed. Candidate provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
Candidate is expected to work under only general direction. This role will be required to work to the assigned tasks as laid out in the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) within constraints defined by the Test System Technical Lead. This role is expected to provide timely and frequent communication on progress and significant issues to the Test System Technical Lead and other Program and Functional Stakeholders to prevent surprises.
Candidate will be required to work with cross functional teams - Test System Technical Lead, Systems Engineering (SE) SME, Unit Under Test (UUT) SME, Group Technical Staff (GTS), and Functional Design Assurance SME - to ensure the test system design is in-line with Enterprise standards and to ensure the test system meets requirements.
Candidate will occasionally be required to travel to Lockheed Martin production facilities, supplier\'s facilities, and customer facilities.

Basic Qualifications:
Basic understanding of LabView/Test Stand
Ability to troubleshooting Analog and Digital Electronics
Test equipment hardware (Oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMM, signal Generators, spectrum analyzers, AC/DC power distribution systems)
Background on developing automated test equipment using National Instruments hardware as building block
Ability to analyze test requirement and design hardware and software solutions that meet requirements
Ability to collaborate with senior hardware and software engineers
Microsoft VISIO, Excel, PowerPoint skills
Desired Skills:
-Prior experience of HW/SW Integration and Verification
Agile Development (JIRA, GitLab)
-Requirements Management Applications (DOORS, NI Requirements Gateway)
-Knowledge of 1553 communication protocols
-Ability to collaborate across engineering functions to resolve issues that occur in production test equipment, document identified issues, and implement hardware/software solutions as corrective actions.Prior experience of HW/SW Integration and Verification
-An Interim Secret clearance (or above) is required to start this position

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
