We are looking to add a

Territory Sales Manager

to the team whose primary focus will be advertising and selling of our company's products and to create competitive advantages for our company in the selected territory.

This is a remote position with a preference that the candidate is located in one of the following cities within the state of South Dakota: Sioux Falls or Brookings.



This position may require frequent regional and international travel as well as non-standard work hours to meet the needs of our customers.



Responsibilities include growing and enhancing the dealer network, generating sales quotes, and meeting marketing and sales objectives. We work within the agriculture sector so we are looking for someone with that type of background.

Responsibilities:



Managing an existing base of dealerships/direct clients in a select territory by making regular visits, calls, understanding their needs, and anticipating new sales opportunities Maintaining relationships with clients by making regular visits, calls, understanding their needs, and anticipating new sales opportunities Finding and identifying new potential product dealers Promoting the company's products in the marketplace Working with the dealer network to improve sales Providing basic technical support to dealers and end users Documenting sales calls and customer quotes Staying current in the industry by attending conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks Working with the Sales Team to optimize flow through the production facility

Requirements:



3+ years' experience in the agricultural industry in a sales or marketing role Previous leadership experience is considered an asset Intermediate Microsoft office skills including word, outlook, and excel Experience with CRM and sales quoting software for the tracking of sales calls, quotes, and product support Proficient knowledge of industrial or agricultural sales and marketing strategies Excellent negotiation and mediation skills Excellent communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service skills Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills The ability to follow and enforce company policies and procedures Ability to communicate fluently in both verbal and written English

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
