The Idaho State Department of Agriculture is currently recruiting for temporary Boat Station Pest Detection Specialists for the Plant Industries division located at a Boat Inspection Station in Kooskia.

Example of Duties
This job is part of the agency\'s statewide invasive species prevention program. These positions will serve as members of a watercraft inspection team stationed at the Inspection Station in Kooskia, Idaho.
These positions inspect watercraft to prevent the spread of zebra/quagga mussels and other Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) from infested states. The position will use an established protocol to inspect watercraft and conduct hot washes on high-risk conveyances; conducting quality control activities at watercraft inspection stations; setting up and taking down portable traffic signs on daily basis; and properly entering detailed watercraft data on an electronic inspection form.
