About the Role

The Temporary Elementary Teacher at Hillside Elementary School will plan, deliver, and assess engaging instruction aligned with

Oregon State Standards and district curriculum goals. The teacher will foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom where students are

encouraged to take risks, explore ideas, and achieve personal and academic growth.



This role includes designing developmentally appropriate lessons, maintaining a classroom culture of respect and high expectations,

using assessment data to guide instruction, and collaborating with colleagues, families, and administrators to support student success.

Teachers are expected to demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement and teamwork.

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking an enthusiastic and flexible educator who holds a current Oregon Teaching License with the appropriate elementary endorsement(s) by TSPC.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong classroom management, organization, and communication skills; shows a passion for working with

young learners; and builds positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues. Experience with formative assessment,

collaboration in PLCs, and integration of technology to enhance learning is highly valued.

Position Title:

Temporary Elementary Teacher

Placement:

Hillside Elementary School - Eagle Point, Oregon

Supervisor:

Principal or Designee

Contract Days:

193 year, 8 hours per day, through June 12, 2026

Salary Range:

$46,548 - $90,846 per year plus a Master's Stipend of $2,327 (Prorated based on start date)

Salary placement will be dependent upon verified full-time experience and Master's level credits. Includes an excellent benefits package,

including 6% PERS retirement "employee contribution" paid by the District.
