Temporary Art Studio Assistant

Job Description
The Temporary Studio Assistant will report directly to the Studio Art Program Director and work closely with the Studio Art Technician and Digital Design Technologist to support a broad range of studio production.
Responsibilities include:
- Assistance and technical support in equipment and facility usage in the Print Shop, the Photography Darkroom, the Woodshop, Digital Design Studio, and Ceramic and Wet Lab.
- Organizing and handling art supplies and storage areas.
- Assisting in equipment maintenance (training provided).
- Supporting technical demonstrations in the classroom.
- Overseeing student staff in production areas.
- Other duties as needed.
This is an on-campus, non-benefit eligible, position working up to 20hrs per week from August 21, 2023 through June 21, 2024.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree.
Familiarity with analog Photography equipment.
Experience in analog printmaking techniques.
Familiarity with woodshop equipment.
Knowledge of Adobe Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in an arts related field.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to problem solve and work independently.
