A global freight forwarding company is urgently looking for a

Japanese/English Bilingual Import Operator

at their NJ branch in the are of Edison, NJ. The ideal candidate must be able to speak in Japanese language fluently. The positions require excellent interpersonal communication skills and be able to speak, read and write in Japanese. This position is a full-time, ON-SITE work, Temp to Hire position. Entry-level and new grads candidates are encourage to apply.

Responsibilities - Japanese/English Bilingual Import Operator:

Tracking shipments and communicating about shipment's progress Communicating with carriers, customers, and agents via phone and email effectively Fill out air and ocean import/ export documentation Receive, review, and process documentation for import/ export Sending and receiving documents to clients and carriers Handle claims with insurance companies if shipment problems occur Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications - Japanese/English Bilingual Import Operator:

Must be proficient in MS Excel with excellent Data Entry skills and Outlook for e-mail communications Able to speak in Japanese more than Business level (JLPT N2 or above) High School Diploma. Prefers degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, and other related field Good at working with numbers and detail oriented Organized, multi-tasks, and goal-oriented Knowledge of logistic procedures and optimization Previous work experience in Freight Forwarding industry is plus Strong written and verbal communication skills
