Telecommunications Installer

Mountain West Technologies, a leader in our industry and proud affiliate of 307 First, is excited to announce the opening of a Field Technician / Internet Installer to our installation crew in Cheyenne, WY to service our clients.

To be successful in this role the perfect candidate will be a highly motivated solution finder that is a dependable, enthusiastic individual who can work independently and collaborate with our team to solve technical problems and provide quality service to residential and business customers. This role involves supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of our network. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in various outdoor and indoor environments.

The selected candidate will be trained in product knowledge and proper techniques that will be critical for offering accurate assistance to customers.

Provide Excellent Customer Support

address customer questions, inquiries, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and fostering loyalty.

Stay Market-Savvy

stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify areas for improvement and recommend new products, pricing strategies, or marketing approaches.

Engage by Developing Relationships

with customers and teammates with professional behavior and proper communication with internal and external contacts, including company employees, managers, and the public.

Operate and Maintain

equipment such as company truck, trailers, tools, and equipment while adhering to safety and security policies.

Perform Manual Labor

tasks including installation on rooftops, digging, lifting, and using hand tools while following safety protocols and maintaining clean and organized work site. Ability to perform duties while working outside in inclement weather.

Adapt and Perform Additional Duties

: Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned, contributing to the team's overall success and flexibility. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver license and be insurable to drive a company vehicle Must feel comfortable climbing ladders and working on roofs with varied heights Must be able to physically lift up to 50 pounds High School Diploma or equivalent Must be willing to travel within the region 50% of the time Must pass background check and drug test Previous experience in the telecom or construction industry is a plus
